SIWES INSTRUCTION 

SIWES ( Student industrial work experience scheme ) is a programme which is set up to enhance the practical skill and knowledge of the student in university and polytechnics. All the student studying under the listed institutuon in kwara state polytechnic are going to go for this programme and it is very compulsory.

The fact about SIWES are below

1. It is 4 unit course 
2. It is compulsory and will cause extra year for anyone who is entitled to go and did not even do anything
3. It is a 4 months programme
4. It does not attract any salary
5. You are going to pay for SIWES logbook which is usually #1200.
6. All SIWES letter are always submitted by student to their interested company during the ND 1 first semester holiday because your are to submit by second semester resumption.
7. The institution to go for this are IES,IAS,IICT,IOT.

Note all this fact above and make sure you fulfil anyone that's need to be fulfill.
